Dr. Stock is a strong advocate for aggressive biomedical and healthcare research. He co-founded the Harris Center for Precision Wellness at Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai, and the Program on Medicine, Technology, and Society at UCLA's School of Medicine. He also co-founded Signum Biosciences, serving as its CEO for 6 years and directed efforts there to develop a promising new therapeutic class for Alzheimer's disease and identify neuroprotective natural products. Co-founded and served for two years as the CEO of Ecoeos, where he helped pioneer the development of ecogenetic tests to gauge personal sensitivity to environmental toxins. Dr Stock serves on the California Advisory Committee on Stem Cells and Reproductive Cloning and is the Associate Director of the Center for Life Science Policy Studies.
