Many of the top global creatives, from all disciplines, have brought their expertise to Cannes in recent times, including activist and song-writer Sir Bob Geldof, leading inventor Ray Kurzweil and macroeconomist and global affairs commentator Dambisa Moyo. This year brought yet more sparkling names, including creative genius Sir John Hegarty, noted futurist, author and founder of marketing consultancy BrainReserve Faith Popcorn and global director of social media and search marketing at the LEGO group Lars Silberbauer, among many others.
