Expo Milano 2015 is not only an exhibition but also a process, one of active participation among a large number of players around the theme of Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life. It is sustainable, technological, thematic and focused on its visitors. Open from May 2015 for 184 days, this giant exhibition site, covering one million square meters, is expected to welcome over 20 million visitors.
Eni S.p.A. is the official partner for Sustainability Initiatives in African Countries of Expo Milano 2015. The partnership’s role is to promote initiatives for the development and access to energy in sub-Saharan countries. Eni is one of about 140 countries and companies who will be presenting ideas around the theme of ‘Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life’.
Paolo Scaroni, the former CEO (2005-2014) of Eni S.p.A. and an international businessman still heavily involved in the energy and sustainability sector, is one of Italy’s business gurus with a deep knowledge of many industries, experience in managing multinational organisations, combined with expertise in sustainability and an entrepreneurial outlook.
